Ed was a mentor to me while working with me at ABB. His office was next to mine. He was a good man with a great sense oh humor. I met up with him in a dream last night which led me here. Prayers and condolences to the family.

I worked for years with Ed at ABB T&D. He was a good engineer and fun guy to work with. RIP old friend, your friend Jimmy the guinea.

Prayers and thoughts to Mr. Rifkin's family.

I can still remember playing tabletop games in the Rifkins' kitchen, with the door to his workshop ajar to offer a glimpse at all the tools and bins of an inventor and engineer.

I can still remember the look of wonder on his face when talking about seeing Phantom of the Opera and how amazing the technical stage effects were.

We are all so fortunate to have experienced the earlier eras of mechanical, electric, and digital technology through people like Mr. Rifkin and his generation.

Welcoming us to the community, Ed
made us feel his caring spirit. Going
to his concerts allowed us to share
his joy for music and entertaining
those who needed it. Sharing
birthdays and other special occasions,
made him a part of our extended family.
Without his warmth and wit, our
gatherings will be a little less bright.

Ed was a terrific guy who loved his family. I remember seeing each other at the academy of music for Philly Pops. Such a fun time. Happy to remember the good times. May his memory be for a blessing.
